All new My Rental Admin Suite is ready

After months in development we are now in the Beta testing stage of My Rental Admin, a fantastic free addition to the service we already provide . This solution is getting some rave reviews and the intricacies of it are starting to benefit those Members who have really taken it to task.

Not really had a look yet? Let us try to give you an insight into how it works with a mini-tutorial on how to add your bookings to the system.

There are three ways to add a booking (or ‘On Hold’ option) to the My Rental Admin suite and your Availability Calendar. Which ever way you choose is completely up to you. Let’s use the scenario that a confirmed booking has come in for 4th – 18th of July 2009 from Mr. & Mrs. Jones following an enquiry made via your website.

Option 1 – Here we use the Contacts section of My Rental Admin to allocate the booking.

• Go to the ‘Enquiries’ section in the My Rental Admin suite and find the email enquiry from the Jones’
• View the enquiry and choose ‘Add Contact’ – this will automatically populate a Contact form with the details.
• Add in any further information you think relevant and click ‘Save to Contacts’
• Go into the Contacts list under My Rental Admin and select the Jones’ record
• Under the Rental Information section, select Add Booking and enter the to / from dates and any other booking details eg No of adults, children, arrival time etc
• Click ‘Save Rental History’ and this will allocate the information to the Contact section and provide your Availability Calendar (paint dates red) and Rental Diary with the same information.

Option 2 – Using the Availability Calendar to confirm the booking

• Go to ‘Edit Availability’ under My Website in the left navigation of your CMA
• Right click on 4 July 2009 and choose ‘Manage Booking’
• Ensure the to and from dates are entered correctly – 04/07/2009 and 18/07/2009
• Allocate the booking to the Jones’ as a Contact or choose ‘None’.
• Complete any further information regarding the rental eg No of adults, children, arrival time etc
• Click ‘Save Rental History’ and this will paint the dates red in your Availability Calendar and provide information to your Rental Diary and the Contact section (if used)

Option 3 – Showing the booking via the Rental Diary

• Select Rental Diary from the My Rental Admin menu found in the left navigation of your CMA
• Navigate to the month of July 2009
• Click July 4th and choose ‘Add Booking’
• Allocate the booking to the Jones’ as a Contact or choose ‘None’.
• Complete any further information regarding the rental eg No of adults, children, arrival time etc
• Click ‘Save Rental History’ and this will provide information to the Contact details of the Jones’ (if used) and will paint the dates in your Availability Calendar red.

The My Rental Admin suite has been designed so that you can use as little or as much of it as you wish. If you don’t wish to use any of the benefits then simply use Option 2 above to show bookings on your Availability Calendar. Like any information gathering system the more you feed it the better it works for you.
